Notary and occasional rental
Is a notary required and what are the costs
Is a notary required?
Yes — the occasional rental agreement must be in the form of a notarial deed. The tenant also submits the enforcement submission statement at the notary.
The substitute property owner's statement may or may not require notarial certification — depends on the notary and landlord requirements.
Who pays?
Typically the tenant pays the notarial deed fee — usually several hundred to over 1,000 PLN depending on the office.
