What is substitute address designation?
Under Art. 19a of the Polish Tenant Protection Act, the tenant must designate a property where they can live after the lease ends and provide the owner's written consent.
What must the statement include?
- Substitute property owner's details
- Tenant's details
- Full property address
- Consent statement
- Date and signature (optionally: notarial certification)
Who can provide an address?
Family, friends with legal title to property, or a commercial service when you have no one in the city.
